GH: What inspired you to start writing music?

2Equivalent: I was raised in a household filled with a diversity of music. That inspired me to start writing music.

GH: Can you tell us more about your experience performing live at gigs and what was the most memorable experience you had?

2Equivalent: I have had great experiences performing live. My most memorable experience was performing at Howard Homecoming in DC. I felt like it was where I belong.

GH: How is your process of songwriting set around?

2Equivalent: My process of songwriting is set around the mood and tone of the moment. It can be set around my past or present life.

GH: What motivates you to create music and bring awareness to different situations through your songs?

2Equivalent: What motivates me to create music... My life experiences motivate me. Also, my love for music. I have been through a lot in life, and it comes through in my music. With my life experiences, I try to bring awareness to all kinds of topics in my music. I try to bring the REAL and POSITIVITY of life experience so listeners can see and understand what I have been through in life.

GH: Could you share some insights into your next projects?

2Equivalent: My next project I will be working on will be my third LP.
