Today we have the pleasure to have Yushie here on Goathead.

GHR: What inspired you to start writing music?

Yushie: Honestly, my biggest inspiration came from big artists like Selena Gomez, SZA, Taylor Swift, rappers like Nicki Minaj and Doechii. I enjoyed their music, and then I realized how their music and emotions connected to me—it was magical. Guess it inspired me to do the same. I also wanted to connect to people like that. To make them feel understood and empowered whenever they connect through my music. I enjoy putting down my emotions into words, and that’s how it started.

GHR: What’s your dream collaboration?

Yushie: I always wanted to collaborate with big artists like Selena Gomez and Blackpink—they have a special place in my heart. It’s on my manifestation board. Let’s see when it happens! Hopefully it happens sooner than I can imagine!

GHR: How is your process of songwriting set around?

Yushie: My songwriting process usually starts with a melody that pops into my head. I build the song around that foundation. Sometimes it’s a raw emotion or an experience I can’t articulate directly in conversation, so I turn it into a song. It’s my way of expressing my emotions.

GHR: What motivates you to create music and bring awareness to different situations through your songs?

Yushie: For me, music is something everyone connects with. There’s no language barrier in music. What drives me is knowing that one song can shift energy, lift someone’s mood, or help them feel their emotions in a better way and make them feel heard.

GHR: Could you share some insights into your next projects?

Yushie: Yes! And I’m so excited for this—I’m working on a project that’s darker, and I’ve never done something like this before. This one’s coming from real incidents, it dives deep into betrayal and coming up stronger. Kinda Phoenix moment for the listeners. Hopefully they’ll enjoy it!
