Today we have the pleasure to have her on Goathead.

GHR: Hey Adelina, great to have you here. What inspired you to start writing music?

Adelina IV: Thank you for having me, I’ve spent my whole life in love with art. Music pulled me in during my teenage years, but Alicia Keys was the artist who unlocked my desire to create. The moment I started writing, I felt an emotional and energetic charge — like something finally clicked. Creating music feels like healing and fueling at the same time.I began with singing, moved to poetry, and naturally evolved into songwriting. Music became the perfect blend of everything I love: poetry, rhythm, movement, structure, emotion, and visual art. It combines every part of me into one universe.

GHR: Can you tell us more about your experience performing live and the most memorable moment you’ve had?

Adelina IV: My first time on stage was at 12, singing in my school choir. Later, I performed during my vocal training, but the most transformative moment happened this year in Italy.I spent a week in isolation with a group of artists through an Erasmus program, and stepping on that stage changed something inside me. I broke through stage fright, and people were shocked by how alive and electric I became.Performing live gives me inner happiness, freedom, and balance — everything inside me aligns for a moment.

GHR: How does your songwriting process usually unfold?

Adelina IV: Everything starts with an emotion. Then the melody comes, followed by harmony, and finally lyrics. I write in one flow because I know exactly what I’m expressing in that moment.I record voice notes constantly — even at night. I’ve woken up from dreams just to capture a melody before it disappears.I usually write in the evening when my creativity is highest. I tend to work alone, but I’ve learned to welcome feedback because it only strengthens the vision.

GHR: What motivates you to create music and bring awareness through your songs?

Adelina IV: My music comes from pain, love, and hope. I write for people with open hearts looking for light, inspiration, understanding, or escape.Honesty motivates me. I want people to feel truth, rawness, emotion, and vulnerability in my songs. My mission is to inspire, give energy, and bring beauty, depth, and light into the world.I’m always analyzing my emotions, so I constantly have something to write about. Sometimes I feel more than I can handle — music helps me transform that into something meaningful.

GHR: How would you describe your artistic identity?

Adelina IV: My artistic identity is built on depth, mystery, and emotion. I’m soft but powerful, intuitive, unpredictable, and always evolving.I carry many archetypes — the lover, the dreamer, the rebel, the child, the queen — all working together.I’m artistic, pure, intelligent, and unafraid to explore the unknown. My music reflects all my shades.

GHR: Could you share some insights into your next projects?

Adelina IV: My upcoming EP explores themes like self-acceptance, rejection, illusions, powerlessness, resilience, dignity, peace, and real love. It’s a five-track journey through emotional highs and lows — my battles and my growth.I’m finishing the last songs now, and the EP will be released in spring. People can expect an introduction to my world: melodic stories with modern R&B vibes.
