Happy 2026 from Goathead

ree

Dear Goathead members, partners and artists.

As we turn the page on a difficult year for many, I want to begin with gratitude for our community. Your work, your trust, and your persistence are what give this ecosystem meaning. Creative expression continues to be a connective force in uncertain times, and at Goathead we have always believed that supporting creators is not optional. It is our responsibility.

Your work made 2025 a defining year for Goathead.

Over the past year, Goathead continued to grow as an independent, multi-vertical platform, bringing together music, media, editorial, and production under one unified structure. Countless of artists from diverse backgrounds and genres joined the Goathead ecosystem, pushing culture forward outside of traditional gatekeeping systems.

Some of last year's highlights were:

Expansion of Goathead Records as a multi-vertical creative platform, integrating Music, Editorial, Media, and Independent into a single independent ecosystem built for long-term creator support.

Sustained growth of the Accel Program, delivering structured artist development, production support, editorial coverage, and visual assets to independent artists across multiple territories.

Successful deployment of Cloudchasers Financial funds for Independent, establishing a creator-aligned financial arm supporting production, media, and infrastructure while maintaining ethical, non-extractive structures.

Publication and distribution of hundreds of editorial pieces, including interviews, reviews, and long-form cultural commentary, amplifying independent voices beyond algorithm-driven exposure.

Launch of The Thing podcast within Goathead Media, expanding Goathead’s editorial and cultural programming through long-form conversations, commentary, and creator-focused storytelling.

Release and support of numerous records across genres, maintaining a curated, artist-first approach while expanding reach and audience engagement.

Development of proprietary workflows and internal growth tools, streamlining creative delivery, editorial output, and production efficiency without compromising quality or artistic integrity.

Strengthening of strategic partnerships across media, production, and finance, reinforcing Goathead’s position as a durable independent institution rather than a short-cycle platform.

Formal announcement and development of the Goathead App, scheduled for launch in 2026, designed to centralize creative tools, releases, editorial, and community within a unified independent infrastructure.

Launching of the Goathead Awards, establishing a new independent cultural institution dedicated to recognizing artistic excellence, originality, and impact beyond algorithm-driven metrics.

The year tested the industry. It tested creators. It tested systems. What emerged was proof that independent infrastructure can be built with intention, discipline, and respect for the people who create the work.

Goathead exists because of one principle that does not change.

Music come first. Always.

Thank you for your music, your ideas, your trust, and your belief in what we are building together. I wish you and your loved ones health, clarity, and momentum in 2026.

Happy New Year.
